Fried Chicken OG - 8 Seeds
The history of the "Fried Chicken" pepper is long and strange. The original pepper that has evolved into Fried Chicken was bred by Rocco Maltesi which was a 7 Pot BBG7 Orange and Jays Peach Ghost Scorpion cross. Its original name was "Bubbleskin". There wasn't a lot of attention for this variety until around 2023 when some growers started calling the variety Fried Chicken due to its color and bumpy skin. This nickname stuck. However the phenotype that currently is being grown and circulated tends to have pods that are thicker shaped then the original.
This phenotype offered here is more like the original with a more slender pod. The skin is also a bit gnarlier and bubbly (like the original)
